Double-A Cafe

This is hands down the best coffee shop in Alturas. The atmosphere is very modern and cozy. Their smoothies are phenomenal, the Blue Bee was so delicious. The couches are very comfortable and a good place to sit and talk with friends.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a cozy, thoughtfully designed space that invites you to slow down and savor the experience. The lounging areas are not only beautiful but truly elevate the atmosphere, making it perfect for catching up with a friend or getting lost in a book. What impressed me most was the service. I requested my drink to be made a very specific way—without it being written down—and the barista absolutely nailed it. It was perfect, easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere. I had it within minutes. The menu offers a wide variety of drink options, and the treats in the front window—like the muffins and cake pops—are just as delightful as they look. You can feel the love and care in every corner of this café. If you’re looking for your next favorite spot, Double-A Café is it. Great drinks, warm vibes, and unmatched service. Highly recommend!!

Double-A Cafe is a gem in our small town. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food/drinks and amazingly great people. I have not been disappointed by a single thing I've ordered. Today, I tried the Chicken Gyro Special. I cannot stress enough how yummy these were! The look and flavors went beyond my expectations. Landon, Christian, Erin and all the wonderful staff, thank you for giving our little town a slice of much needed food heaven. You guys rock!

Great new spot for coffees, teas including boba and paninis. Friendly, bright, airy, modern, artistic, well priced. Very very nice!

Went in for lunch and had the Italian combo and the southwest melt. They were the best sandwiches we’ve had in a while! The atmosphere is neat. Lots of different seating options.

We recently stayed in Alturas and found there was no traditional breakfast places so we went in search of a place to eat. We found Double A Cafe and was completely surprised by how excellent their biscuits and sausage gravy, their Southwest Melt were. They have a great variety of coffees, cappuccino and other beverages. We highly recommend it. It’s difficult to see but it is right across the street from historic Niles Hotel.

This is thee best coffee shop in Alturas by far. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere and decor are so playful and unique. And the coffee. The coffee and food are amazing. We have stopped by twice and were so pleased both times. We will be coming back again before we depart! Thank you Double A Cafe!!

Today I ordered an Italian combo from Double A Café, and it was hands-down amazing. Absolutely amazing. Although I don't usually spend that much money, and I could just make one at home, I'm glad that I ordered from there today because it was so yummy. They have taken flavor town to a whole another level. There's so much flavor, and it's very filling. I got a side salad, and the dressing for it made me think I was at a five-star restaurant. They have done such an amazing job, and I will definitely be ordering again.
